We decided to try the Cedar Shelf Liner rolls for our linen cabinet in the cabin and it worked just fine. This product consists of very thin cedar wood that is glued to paper, rolled for shipping and handling. When first unrolling, there is a curling but so I rerolled the cedar panel in opposite and let it sit overnight. When unrolled the next morning, the panel was mostly flat and more manageable. I cut the panel into lengths to fit my cabinet shelf using regular household scissors. To keep the cedar panel in place, I sprayed a multipurpose spray adhesive from 3M called Super 77 from my local hardware store, lightly over the back of the panel, then placed each panel in position on the shelf. The spray adhesive worked excellently at keeping the cedar panel in place. Our wood cabinet shelves now have the fine protective aroma of cedar, great for storing linen towels, sheets, and any clothing in our cabin.
