Fleece is good quality. Stitching and cut are just right. I'm usually M or L. I bought this in L and it was fine...roomy but not too large. Depends on what you want--loose or fitted. Side hand pockets are zippered. Fit was perfect.The vest is cozy meaning its a little thick,I'm a large fits me kinda tight.. over all its a nice vestBought the same color (purple) jacket version of this last year and liked it especially since my wristlet fit in the pocket, the price was terrific, and it's a little roomier than a lady's jacket, so it's great for layering.Decided to go with this vest version as my Ralph Lauren vest has seen better days and my wristlet, which needs to be out of sight at work, doesn't fit in the RL pocket.My only concern, I ordered a L and XL, is the L was nicely packed in a plastic bag. The XL, on the other hand, was obviously a return that was worn as not only was it was balled up inside a plastic bag but also had, for lack of a better term, what looked like small, crumpled up pieces of leaves on the outside of the vest.The quality was better than expected. Oddly the zip connects connects to do up the opposite way to what I'm used to (I always thought ladies' wear did up one way and men's the other) but I'm used to that now. I've paid twice as much for similar fleece vests that aren't any better.I had been looking for a lightweight gilet to replace a Galvin Green (premium manufacturer) garment I have worn to death.I had trouble finding gilets to replace it as they all seem to be now geared more towards outdoor wear and I wanted to be able to wear something warm yet comfortable inside and outdoors...I saw this on Amazon with Prime delivery and was amazed at the quality of the fabric, it is lightweight but the fleece is a good thickness, it even feels warm to the touch and an added bonus are the two zipped pockets.The collar is also really tidy and stylish - as is the garment - and really well-made... I have already ordered a second one and would highly recommend this product without hesitation.surprisingly well made for the price, looks good. 2 good zipped pockets. Just hope the main zip holds. I bought an Amazon Essentials fleece I had to throw out when zip broke within a month.This is a light weight sleeveless fleece which is ideal over a jumper or sweatshirt just for that bit extra warmth. Ordered a medium and the fit is good and the quality look to be good so should last a few years.I bought this because it was less than half price, under £10. I needed a fleece for wearing about the garden or walking. It fits the job.
