I really like the weight of the fabric, which is cool but not too thin, and not see through. The skirt is loose and comfortable, but not too baby doll looking. The fit on the top half was odd, however, so I've decided to return it after thinking for a while about altering it. The bust area had the right diameter overall, but it gaped out from there under the armpit. The bottom of armhole to top shoulder measurement is way too long as well. Stitching the top shoulder seam an inch or two lower would have pulled the armhole up to where I wanted it, but then the gathered waist was pulled up way too high, so I decided to just give up on that idea. A smaller size would have made the first tier seam on the skirt too tight.I just wanted a couple of no-thought-required warm weather dresses, so I grabbed this and one other.This will be relegated to the status of "house dress" because it's suffering a bit of an identity crisis that renders it profoundly unflattering on me, but exceptionally comfortable. For reference, I am 5' 3", 150 lbs, and got a size Medium.The waistline can't decide if it wants to be natural waist or empire and so splits the difference, landing about half an inch above my natural waist, eliminating any shape through my torso but not sitting high enough to accent my bust and fall freely from there. I tried pulling it up to underbust and it improved the look but sadly the elastic isn't strong enough to keep it there. It fits loosely enough to be comfortable, but doesn't fully commit to being a smock, which would actually be cuter, because as is it's just tight enough to highlight every bump and bulge and side VPL.The pockets are big enough to be useful, but angled & placed in such a way that they create extra of what I can only call front hip?On the plus side, the fabric is soft, it washes well, I got the Olive and it's not at all see-through, and it is, as previously stated to give credit where due, just so dang comfortable.So my husband and my dogs will be seeing a lot of this dress, but probably not anyone else I know.Cute dress, ❤️ the fitCan be dressed up or down. Looking forward to wearing itI’m 5’1” and an athletic 135-140 pounds and got the XS size in grey—it fits great, looks sporty but cute, the pockets are fantastic. I wish there were more colors! The same dress in a racer back would also be great. I think this will be huge on a “true” xs, so very petite gals with even slimmer builds should probably search for another dress, or bank on trying to make this one shrink in the wash.This dress is a thin cotton with just enough stretch. It fits well.Good fit. Fabric is slightly see through. Need to wear nude or white undergarments.So sad. I had to return. I LOVED the blue color. The style was unflattering on me.
