I bought these & carharts. Same size, same style fit. I honestly like these better, this 38x30 seems like a better fit here. The only thing that prevents 5 stars is belt loops. All jeans should have 7 belt loops, these only have 5. Other things to consider, not important to me but maybe to you.. 1st, the front pockets aren't as deep as most modern jeans, IMO that's a positive but if you have a large cell phone, maybe not so much. 2nd the rear pockets seem kinda low, visually confirmed by my gf, haven't dropped my wallet, but it just feels a little weird.
