In essential asm vol. 5 you get a big bang for your buck you get see the death of captain George Stacy and many fights between Spidey and Doc ock and the kingpin. then you get the 100th issue of asm and switch from writer Stan Lee to Gerry Conway. so if your a spidey fan you should buy this it is cheap why i like the essential volumes because you save money on the old classic spidey comics and many other great marvel comics. This is in black and white but for me after reading them for a while you get use to the black and white. But if you do want it in color you can try a somewhat cheaper marvel masterworks which cost around the same price range for about only half as many comics that are in the essential volumes so youll have to buy more than you would have to buy mare than you would than with the essential volumes or you can get marvel omnibus which can be quite pricey. i hope my review is helpful to you.
