I became a dad about thirty years ago so of course I had to immediately switch out all my stylish shorts with cargo shorts. These are a good pair of cargo shorts at a good price. My fragile masculinity won’t allow me to carry a purse, Fanny packs went out in the eighties, and a satchel is too man-bun, but these cargo shorts hit the spot. Need to carry pliers, wallet, phone, chewing gum, keys, flashlight, that cool rock your kid found, a whole water bottle, and your man card? Then buy these shorts and dad up!They fit and feel great. I like them so much I avoid wearing them too often to keep from wearing them out. The pocket style is like 2012 style stuff as there is not pocket for your phone or any other kind of 2020s style features but they are still nice.Great pants for the end of the season. There are is not a selection of colors unless you want a print. The material is 100% cotton and is very comfortable to wear. Send these for dry cleaning to keep them looking dressy.Bought multiple shorts as outdoor work apparel. They arrived quickly. Durability is excellent, handled multiple washing & drying and remained colorfast washed in cold water. Had to flatten out the pocket corners, but they held nicely when flattened straight out of the dryer. Daily wear...so lots of use and lots of washes. Tough enough for the hard jobs, looks good enough for the office times. Very pleased with the quality and price of this purchase.These are the best made cargo shorts I have found in years! Sturdy, thick material. Good stitching, well constructed pockets! These will last years with hard use. I bought more pairs after trying on the first one:)I ordered 3 pair black, olive and rust size 36. Had to return the black pair they were way too small and get a size 38 while the olive & rust was a great fit.Very comfortable and light weight, feels good even in the heat…My son loves these shorts. Wore them two days in a row. Nice and long enough. All the shorts for young men in the stores are hoochie daddy shorts. #HoochFreeZoneMy husband loves these shorts - the fit was great and they are a good length. I actually ended up ordering another pair in another color.I bought these shorts with trepidation due to the vastly differing reviews on Amazon. Some said they were far too small and some said miles too big. One reviewer even said they were cut funny and cut into his bum crack uncomfortably. My son really needed something similar for work and I couldn't find a pair of black cargo shorts anywhere else so in the end I just went for it and ordered his normal size with my fingers crossed that they would fit OK.When they arrived he was out so I laid them up against another pair of his shorts, bought from Tesco that I knew fitted him well and the waistband was EXACTLY the same size and sure enough, when he came home and tried them on, they fitted him fine. He always wears a size 30 inch waist which is a fraction loose on him but he uses a belt and prefers them comfy. I asked him if they cut anywhere or were loose anywhere else and he did a few Ninja type moves in them to demonstrate that they were not uncomfortable, did not cut into him or restrict his movement in any way. They are not made from a stretchy fabric but the material is very nice and the shorts look smart, despite the pockets on the leg. There is no sag or loss of shape if you use the pockets, provided they are not over-loaded.So, if you are thinking about buying these shorts and are put off by the contradicting reviews, I would just go for it. Different retailers have different ideas about sizing and some cut stingily and others generously so I would just buy your normal size and have a little faith.As a girl, I hate that your only options for shorts are generally skin tight, very short and with tiny or no pockets. These are the opposite, and exactly what I wanted. Amazing quality especially for such a reasonable price, huge deep pockets and come down to the knee. Even after many washes they were still in good nick. After one day of wearing them I'd already ordered a second pair and my girlfriend had also ordered some! For any girls who are considering buying these - I'm a size 10 trousers and the 29 fits perfectly, whilst my girlfriend is a 14 and the 33 was perfect for her.I must admit I was surprised on how good quality is of these shorts. I wanted something to wear in the hot weather while gardening and not show the marks. The material is really tough and the additional pockets come in handy. The only trouble is, my wife has got her eye on them so looks like I'm going to have to buy extra pair.I simply don't understand this. Amazon's guide for the product said go for a size down as they're a big fit for the size. So I did that, and sure enough, too small. What on earth is the point in that? They shouldn't stock gear which isn't accurately sized, I see no reason why clothes shouldn't be made properly, with correct sizing? Now wasted another hour as website has a bug and locker drop-off for return not selectable (spent ages on phone while they looked into it and got nowhere).Product seemed fine, quality looked fine at a glance, but no idea of durability as naturally I'm returning them.Brilliant. Do NOT waste time hesitating, just BUY! Quality of fabric? Excellent. Fit? Very nice. Stitching? Expert. Even down to the fact that the cargo pockets are 2 button closings instead of the usual rip open hook & eye (can't say Velcro, that's a trade name) makes these shorts top quality in my humble opinion. And all at a thoroughly decent price. But they're Amazon - what else would you expect?
